The A/C Blower Motor went out in my 92' Jeep Wrangler a month ago, So I finally got down to replacing it this weekend. Suddenly, This morning, my speedometer started working again! Got some weird Ju Ju Magumbo going on, but it was a great surprise, and started my Monday off with a smile!

I remember the speed sender for that generation was tricky, our XJ always had issues with it.

when you’re in Texas, sometimes taking the top off isn’t enough to save you from extreme sweat

Yeah, my mechanic couldn’t even figure it out. I still don’t know what I did, probably moved a wire or something. Who knows.

I had a ‘96 Grand Cherokee. On a trip from Michigan to Colorado the ABS sensors went and the HVAC kept working but became possessed. It would blow cool air, but would randomly cycle between vents regardless of which ones you had chosen.

It would also ruin the oil pressure sending unit every time you changed the oil. Change the oil, about a week later change the sending unit. At least they went so frequently that I never had to actually pay for one.
